◇ On March 29, Mengxi Group was once again elected into the “Top 500 Informationization Enterprises in China” by CECA National Informationization Evaluation Center ;
◇ In April, Mengxi Group was certified as the first batch of “2008 National Innovative and High-tech Enterprises” in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region;
◇ On April 29, Quality Assurance Office Secretary of Mengxi Cement Company LIU Lifen and Technique Engineer of Mengxi Kaolin Powder Company LIU Haibo were elected as the “Labor Exemplary Workers of Erdos City”;

◇ In February, the “Preparation and Production of Seal Adhesives, Resins Inks and Anti-stoning Special Nano Coating” Project of Mengxi Nano Materials Company won the Second Award of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Advancement Award for 2006, which was the fourth Second Award of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Advancement Award Mengxi Group received;
◇ On March 6, LIU Lifen, Quality Assurance Office of Cement Industry Department of Mengxi Cement Company, was received the honorary title of “March 8” Red Banner Pace-setter from Erdos City Women’s Federation;
◇ In May, the “Large Scale Production of Full Biodegradable Carbon Dioxide Copolymer from Kiln Tail Gas” Project carried out by Mengxi Grou Company’s Full Degradable Plastic Branch Company won the First Award of Erdos City Science and Technology Advancement Award for 2007;
◇ On the morning of July 9, “Propitious Clud”, the torch of Beijing Olympic Games, passed Erdos City. Comrade WANG Yingjie was appointed as the 79th Torch Bearer on behalf of Mengxi Group;
◇ On July 28, at the Innovative Enterprise Building Work Meeting held by Ministry of Science, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and All China Federation of Trade Unions in Beijing, Mengxi High-tech Group Company and the other 91 enterprises from across the country were elected into the first batch of “Innovative Enterprises”;
◇ On July 28, at the Erdos City Non-Public Sector Economy Work Meeting, Mengxi Group was granted the honorary titles of “Non-public Sector Economy Enterprise with Over Ten Million Yuan Tax Payment of Erdos City” and “Non-public Sector Economy Independently Innovative Enterprise of Erdos City” and Chairman of Board of Directors, Mr. LIU Ailin, was elected as the “Outstanding Non-public Sector Economy Entrepreneur of Erdos City”;
◇ In July, General Manager of Mengxi Erdos Aluminum Product Company, TONG Fulin, was conferred with the honorary title of “Science and Technology Worker at the Front Line of Production with Outstanding Contribution” by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee and People’s Government;
◇ In August, All China Federation of Trade Unions conferred Electrical Work Division of Power Industry Department of Mengxi Cement Company with the honorary title of “Worker of Advancement”;
◇ In August, China National Labor Union of the Machinery, Metallurgy and Building Materials conferred the Central Command Room of Mengxi Kaolin Powder Company with the honorary title of “Advanced Working Team” of National Machinery, Metallurgy and Building Materials System;
◇ In September, at the “Building Enterprise with Harmonious Labor Relations” Event launched in Yakeshi City, Yakeshi Mengxi Cement Company was elected as “Enterprise of Building Harmonious Labor Relations”. It is reported that among the 30 enterprises being granted the honorary title, Yakeshi Mengxi was the only industrial enterprise.
◇ In November, both Mengxi Group Company and Mengxi Kaolin Powder Company were certified by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Science as the first batch of enterprises for demonstration, application and promotion of “Computerized Accounting” under the manufacturing industry informationization project during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period;
◇ In November, Mengxi Cement Company was once again granted the honorary title of “2008 Advanced Enterprise in Building Materials Industry Statistical Work” jointly by China Building Materials Federation and National Bureau of Statistics of Industrial and Transportation Statistics;
◇ In November, in an election jointly organized and launched by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Development and Reform Committee, Economic Development Committee, General Labor Union and youth League Committee, Mengxi Cement Company was granted the honorary title of “2008 Consumer Satisfied Enterprise of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region”;
◇ On December 4, at the “Mengxi County Education Poverty Aiding Scholarship Donation Ceremony” organized by Party Committee and the People’s Government of Mengxi County, Mengxi Group donated RMB 150,000 and was granted the honorary title of “Advanced Enterprise for Making Donations to Aid Education”;

◇ ◇ In 2007, in the “2006 Top Ten Public Focused Technology in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region” Election jointly held by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Science and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Daily Office, the experts appraised and elected the top ten technology science and technology advancement projects with high innovation and good social & economic benefits and the technologically innovative project of “Production of Alumina by Circulation from Fly Ash” was elected among the top ten projects;
◇ On April 26, 2007, Mengxi Kaolin Powder Company was elected as the Enterprise with Harmonious Labor Relations in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region;
◇ In September, 2007, Senior Engineer and Secretary of Technology Center of the Group Company, WANG Jie, was elected among the 2007 “Light of West China” Visiting Scholars;
◇ On September 17, 2007, at the National Building Materials Industry Advanced Collectives, Labor Exemplary Workers and Advanced Workers Commendation Conference, Laboratory of Cement Industry Department of Mengxi Cement Company was granted the honorary title of “Advanced Collective of National Building Materials Industry” and the associate of Mengxi Cement Company, GE Hongwei, was granted the honorary title of “National Labor Exemplary Worker of the Building Materials Industry”;
◇ On September 21, 2007, in the 2007 Statistics Work Advanced Collectives and Advanced Individuals Election for the Building Materials Industry jointly organized by China Building Materials Federation and National Bureau of Statistics of Industrial and Transportation Statistics, Mengxi Cement Company was elected as the “Advanced Collective of Building Materials Statistics Work”, which was the four consecutive year for Mengxi Cement Company being granted with the honor, and at the same time associate of Enterprise Planning Department of Mengxi Cement Company, LIU Qiang, was elected as “Advanced Individual of Building Materials Statistics Work”;
◇ On October 18, 2007, Mengxi cement and Mengxi Kaolin clay were certified by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Famous Trademark Certification Committee as the famous trademarks of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ;
◇ On November 3, 2007, at the Fifth Session of the Fifth Directors Meeting and the Meeting of Commendation for Outstanding Enterprises and Outstanding Entrepreneurs in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Mengxi High-tech Group Co. Ltd. was elected as “Outstanding Enterprise of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region” and Chairman of Board of Directors of Mengxi Group Company, Mr. LIU Ailin, was awarded the title of “Outstanding Entrepreneur of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region”;
◇ In December, 2007, in the Inner Mongolia “2007 National Quality Month” Event, Mengxi Cement Company was again granted the title of “Consumer Satisfied Enterprise”;
◇ On December 14, at the National Conference for Certification of Exemption from Product Inspection, “Mengxi” cement, “Ri Dang Shan” cement and “Bei Xing” cement were appraised and conferred with the title of “Product Exempted from National Inspection” by State Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine; 

◆ The Year 2006
◇ In 2006, right on the eve of May 1st International Labor Day, Mengxi High-tech Group Co. Ltd. ‘s Co-production of Aluminum Oxide and Cement Clinker by Fly Ash Extraction Project Team was awarded the 2006 May 1st Labor Certificate of Commendation by the autonomous government.
◆ The Year2005
◇ In February, 2005, Mengxi High-tech Group Co. Ltd. won the third prize in the 11th Modernization Innovation Achievement Awards for Enterprise Management for its achievement in informationization construction for enterprise management.
◇ Early in March, 2005, the Technology Center of Mengxi High-tech Group Co. Ltd. was ranked top with a score of 90.6 among enterprise technology centers across the autonomous region in the 2003 annual performance evaluation of autonomous region enterprise technology centers which was organized by Industry Administration Office of the autonomous government.
◇ In April, 2005, Mengxi Kaolin Powder Co. Ltd won the 2004 1st Prize for Technology Improvement in Erdos City for its Superfine High-white Calcined Kaolin.
◇ In April, 2005, Mengxi Polymer Material Co. Ltd won the 2004 3rd Prize for Technology Improvement in Erdos City for its Nanocrystalline PVC Irregularly Shaped Material.
◇ On April 30th, 2005, corporate president Mr. Liu Ailin had the honor to receive the title of State Model Worker and was kindly met by the Party and state leaders.
◇ In November, 2005, the 2004 Operation Evaluation of Autonomous Region Enterprise Technology Centers, which was organized by Industry Administration Office of the autonomous government, successfully concluded and the evaluation review results were released later. Among the 40 autonomous region enterprise technology centers, Mengxi Group and other 4 enterprises were given Excellence Awards. Mengxi’s Technology Center topped the list with a comprehensive score of 87.4, making it the winner of the award for the four consecutive years.
◇ In December, 2005, Mengxi High-tech and New Material Co. Ltd. was entitled the 2005 Advanced Collective for Construction Material Statistic Work by China Building Material Industry Association and Industrial and Transportation Statistic Office of National Bureau of Statistics.
◇ On December 24th, 2005, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government conferred the honorary title “Advanced Collective with Outstanding Contribution to Revitalize Inner Mongolia with Technology and Education” on Mengxi Group.
◇ On December 24th, 2005, the High-performance Environmentally Friendly Paint research theme undertaken by Mengxi Polymer Material Co. Ltd. won the Second Prize for Technology Improvement in the autonomous region.

◇ In the first half of February, 2004, Mengxi High-Tech and New Material Co. Ltd. won the Excellence Award in 2004 China Patent Award with its patent, the Method of Using Aeolian Sand to Replace Argillaceous Materials to Produce Portland Cement Clinker, which was invented in an environmentally friendly project for comprehensive utilization of wastes.
◇ On September 21st, 2004, on the 8th Representative Conference held in Huhehot by the Labor Union of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Mengxi Group’s Labor Union won the title of Advanced Home for Workers of Inner Mongolia.
◇ On December 29th, 2004, Mengxi High-Tech Group Co. Ltd. honorably received the title of Intellectual Property Right Advanced Collective of the Autonomous Region.

◇ In July, 2002, High-performance Compound Portland Cement won the Certificate of State New Key Product.
◇ In August, 2002, Mengxi High-Tech Group Co. Ltd. was certified upon review as AAA Class in 2002 Credit Rating.
◇ In August, 2002, the Compound Portland Cement 525#R produced from High Coal Gangue (>=33%) was reviewed by experts and designated as 2002 New Key Product.
◆ The Year 2001
◇ In April, 2001, High-performance Compound Portland Cement produced by Mengxi was designated by State Ministry of Science and Technology as State Torch Plan Project.
◇ In June, 2001, Mengxi independently developed Ultra-low Alkali Cement, which was entitled, and the collaboratively developed New Triplex Composite Fuel – Development and Commercialization of Oil, Water and Coal Slurry project was entitled New Project of State Technological Innovation Excellence for the Ninth Five-Year Plan.
◇ In September, 2001, Mengxi’s products were listed as Products Exempted from Quality Surveillance Inspection by State General Administration of Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine.
◇ In December, 2001, 32.5R and 42.5R Average Portland Cements and 32.5 Compound Portland Cement received the Certificates of Quality System Certification conferred by China Building Material Quality system Certification Center.
◆ The Year 2000
◇ In 2000, the company’s products were elected as the Top 10 Brands of the Industry by China Industrial Enterprise Federation and China Statistic and Survey Commission.
◇ Mengxi Company was designated as one of the first group of State High-Tech Enterprises by State Ministry of Science and Technology.
The average silicon cement 425R#, 525R# and 625R# as well as compound cement 425R# and 525R# under the brand Mengxi were designated as Recommended Products for Engineering Construction by China Engineering Construction Standardization Association with the Certificate of Recommended Product for Engineering Construction.
Mengxi Portland Cement 525#R developed and produced by the company was elected as the Golden Palm Award for Excellent Products on the 17th Construction Material Exhibition by Organization Committee for Technological Achievement Exhibition and Product Promotion Seminar of Building Materials and Decoration Materials.
◆ The Year 1999
◇ In 1999, Mengxi passed the ISO14001 Environmental Protection System Certification and became the first on in the autonomous region that obtained environmental protection certification as well as one of the three enterprises that were granted the certification in the cement industry in China.
◇ In 1999, Mengxi’s products (Ultra-low Alkali Cement) were incorporated into 1999 State New Key Product Pilot Production Plan by State Economic and Trade Commission. Mengxi cement products were recognized as low alkali cement, which filled a vacancy in domestic products and were up to international standards.
◇ In 1999, Mengxi Company was elected and reported by Autonomous Region Building Material Industry Association as Advanced Enterprise in Quality Management of National Building Material Industry.
◆ The Year 1998
◇ In 1998, Mengxi gained ISO9002 Quality System Certification.
◇ In 1998, Mengxi had the honor to be entitled Advanced Enterprise Following the Example of Handan Steel and Iron Company.
◇ In 1998, Mengxi was recognized as autonomous region high-tech enterprise and its R&D center as autonomous region technology center.
◇ In December, 1998, Mengxi was elected as one of the Top 10 Environmental Friendly Enterprises in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

◇ In 1997, Mengxi Cement was conferred with the Certificate of China Certification of Quality Mark.
◇ In 1997, Mengxi was elected as the Consumer Trusted Enterprise by the autonomous region government, and in 1998 was elected as the Consumer Satisfied Enterprise.
◇ In December, 1997, the brand Mengxi was recognized as Famous Brand Name of the Autonomous Region and products under the brand were elected as Recognized Brand Products.
The High-performance Ultra-low Alkali Cement Production Line set two world records: its investment was one half of that made by average enterprises; its construction speed was two times faster than that by average enterprises.
